BAKZID 2 Bactericide and fungicide designed for metalworking fluids   Bakzid 2 in-can preservative is based on the combination of a hexahydrotriazine and a pyridine derivative. It is intended as a basic preservative for incorporation into alkaline products. Bakzid 2 in-can preservative contains a biodegradable chelating agent, which protects the product against discoloration in the presence of Fe(III). Its microbicidal effectiveness extends to both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and, due to the fungicidal action component, especially to moulds and yeasts.
